She did not mention that price issue but I do appreciate it. You and Ed may be disappointed when you find out what the correct price is but ...

That is a concern of mine. I waited when I probably should have pulled the trigger when Arvid did. I think I'll request a quote to see how much its changed. I hope I don't get sticker shock. Jawdrop

I guess I'll find out if/when they reply to my request for a quote. I sent the request to both the manager and Jennell's replacement.

I got a reply from Sara at Timeway. Good news. The cost is still the same on the MD300H.

Ed,

Just as an FYI, my invoice lists ISO30 along with the power option on the last line. I am sure it will not affect the price but just in case you missed it in your specifications.

Arvid,

I specified the standard configuration for this quote. That would have the ISO40 vertical and the ISO30 horizontal spindles. ISO40 tooling is much easier to find so considering I'd need more tooling for the vertical spindle I'm thinking I might go with an ISO40 vertical spindle. I can't see needing a whole lot of tooling for the horizontal spindle, but I could be wrong. I probably won't make that decision until I'm ready to pull the trigger. So the only option I had specified for this last quote was the 1000mm table.

Glad the price haws not changed that much prob with all the options 1 or 2 hundred bucks which is not that bad sounds like her boss forgot to add the options to the price. Arvid I really want to here what you have to say about the mill. tom

Tom,

I think all three of us are "chomping at the bit" waiting for Arvid's mill to arrive. Smiley-signs131

I have to sell my mill first, had to spend way topo much money on the truck so far this year, got ripped $8600.00 by Kenworth in Burnaby for a power divider/front differential and still need a set of fuel injectors soon. Had to promise the wife I would not spend much in the shop this year. (tounge in cheek). tom
