I was checking out the desk. Those old desks are built like tanks. You could put a lathe on it and it would laugh at it. Oh, and nice V-block.

Nice find Rob , looks to other stuff in that there blue box too its metal if nothing else . That dest will be a H/duty thing too I would say looking at it

Nice find Rob. I wonder if that Kanetec company is the same that make Kanetsu magnetic chucks for surface grinders. Those are excellent quality, found on Okamoto and Mitsui machines. Good chance they're related.
