As I haven't been down in the shop for a while, I figured I'd start with something simple, and knock one off the list.
A simple home-made dead blow hammer. Faces are polypropylene and Delrin. Handle is ash with Danish oil finish. Fitting is a 3/4 pipe thread in brass. Lead shot - #7, I think - is inside. It has 3.7 oz., which is about all it would hold and still leave space to move. Handle is JB welded and pinned into handle. Faces are threaded in; made with a cheap die I bought on a whim.
Full of ideas, but slow to produce parts

Very nice! A machinist hammer is on my long list of projects.

I'm pretty proud of this one. It's an air fitting for my coworker's air-ride seat in his RV. German made seat, so of course it's metric. Only place to get them wanted over 22 bucks to ship, so I said I'd attempt to make one. Hit all the numbers, and it only took me about an hour all told. For me, that is lightning fast.

Is that brass? Ed

Yes. 1/4" bar, which is why the flange isn't quite as large as the original.
