Those tool carts are tippy. Even Harbor Freight offers better options for a little bit more money. My preference is to search the "tools" section of the local Craigslist for Kennedy, Waterloo, even older heavy duty Craftsman roll-arounds for about the same money you might spend on that. With a roll-around 5 or 7 drawer (or more) you get quite a bit more storage and with drawers down low you can put the heavier stuff there to lower the center of gravity.

Well after mulling over it im not getting the box ( only bc of room space ) But the day is not finished yet either Hey Pix I gave this a lot thought last night and trying to re organize the shop make ready for my lathe to come in. I have only 2 options space wise . Im only looking for the box for its draws ...as I would use one for mill one for lathe tools ( I have another one with aside shelf already loaded) . Soooooo if take the top off and use the 4 draws and than put a machinist box in the top tray I dunno why but I obsessed over it 2 weeks go when it was on sale for $109 . ( It was want not need) They had a tent sale a few weeks ago and i ,saw this box and went inside to look at it. I had my son so had to keep my visit short. Any ways I missed the sale o well not meant to be ill make due what I have. Than perhaps after I get lathe decide. Well what hap is next day or so I took a ride on my bike and some how was compelled to take 2nd look at it to feel it smell it....lol...... . I dunno why cuz I have at least four 2-3 draw tool boxes and two fully staked roller cabinets . Not to mention a plumbing box, electrical box an extra mechanic box in cab under work benches . Like I need another one ???????? Anways I plan to build one more wood box for instruments and thast ALL I NEED .ill put it on top of the 2 dwaw mahogany box I made . Perfect fit and look Btw the Draws are smoooothe ( on this model) and its pretty study cart . (that's looking feeling not putting together) I think at first look maybe just as good if not better than a standard Red craftsmen Box. JMHO Worth the money for esp what id use it for . Ok ok I like it want it but don't need it YET . I prob may end up adding one draw to the cart I have for long drills and such for the lathe. I duuno yet ... if I have to down 2 shelves to fit lathe ill have do something to make up for loss shelving tooling . thanks allot guys don't talk me into im aldeady going to go out latter this after noon to pick up me new band saw .... Guys it el take me 1/2 hour to take pics and show layout so you can see my predicament . But latter first need to FINISH this 4 shelf 2 tier bench idea im workin on. Sat I went to my job stayed till 10 pm so didn't get anything done when I gots home. ohh last night saw someone local has machinist tools and a slew other good stuff equipt ... but he posted that 8 days ago maybe worth a phone call email take a look ....... and than out to hunt again. Wish me luck

I still say go for the saw. If I recall, that box you're looking at uses slides instead of bearings for the drawers. Not good. The US General version of it at HF uses bearings. I have a craftsman red box that uses slides. One of the drawers had sockets and when I put the box in my truck to transport it, the weight of the sockets bent the slides. Now that drawer is only good for holding light stuff.
