I have to agree with you on the Lincoln wire. I started using it when I first got my MIG welder but was having problems so I got some Hobart wire and had better luck. I know the majority of my problem is my technique but anything I can do to help me succeed is worth trying.

Ed if it helps i do go in little circles when i weld those plates. I try to build it up a little so i can cut some off with the lathe and still have some strength...Bob
