Video camera mount
#1
Hi
Lads
I do like to play with my video camera and machines
Using a tripod gets in the way & I can not get the shots I want
I am going to fix this stainless pipe to the garage roof & hang the camera from it
Made a start on the mount today

John,

Nice camera boom you're building there. I know what you mean by the tripod getting in the way. I can never seem to get it where I want it to get the shot I'm aiming for. I've thought of making something that attaches to the floor joists above the lathe to mount the camera and the light to.

Looking good John Big Grin , like you say should be a lot simpler than working around a tripod, I look forward to seeing the first video from it. It looks like it will also cover both sides of the milling machine too, good work , hope it gives you the shots your after .
Cheers Mick.
