John, any thoughts of putting the old hand wheel on your knee feed? I've seen how fast you can crank those handles so it may save you even more time.

John, I agree with your decision to retain the dials. Ya never know when the DRO will Drop Right Out, mine did and I was still able to use the mill until I fixed the DRO.
As regards Willie's suggestion, I'd vote for putting efforts into a power knee lift, I love mine.

Power lift? He don't need no stinking power lift! Me on the other hand, need all the help I can get. I went with both. And I agree. I made an adapter as well to keep my original dial.
