Roller v-blocks???

Making them isn't the problem for me Darren. It's planning them.

Trying to figure out the correct diameter and spacing of the bearings to use for a given range of shaft sizes and center height in relation to the "V" makes my head hurt just thinking about it. Math is not my favorite subject......

I don't want to waste a lot of time fumbling around with trial and error.
I was just hoping to find something I could copy the dimensions from at least.

So that should have been the question in your original post - "How do I figure out the bearing spacing..." Big Grin

I'm sure there are a few on here who can help out. Your other option is to get two bearings and set them up in your bench vise, using a bolt through each to enable them to be gripped and still spin. You can then adjust the gap between them and see how different sized shafts fit. Not the most technical way but might solve your problem.

Another trial and error method would be to do it in a 3D CAD program. Create different sized discs to be used as a substitute for bearings. Then different sized pipe and then in an assembly you can set it up and use your measuring tool to get the distances. That is how I do it.
