I'm going to 3D print labels for the other boxes I've made and glue them on. I'm getting so many of the boxes and they're usually stacked so it makes it a lot easier to find what I need if the ends are marked.

Mark II of the boring head box. In the original the hex keys could flop around, now they're contained in slots.
I added spots for storing the unused set screws plus a spare for each size of set screws. The cork helps to cushion the head. The one thing I forgot to do is to add the "Boring Head" text to the box lid. Ed

That's the second time I had to print the lid because I screwed up a dimension when I first printed it so the third time should be a charm. Ed

No box for this one!
Why the heck are lathe spiders so expensive? 300 bucks for an aluminum one? Not a chance. 3D print to the rescue. Took about an hour, because 85% infill. 7.5mm thick, because that is approximately half the depth of my chuck jaws. And the beauty of 3D printing it is, I can make other size ones by simply scaling it in the z direction and printing another as needed.
Full of ideas, but slow to produce parts
