Right after he prints the dresser and the drawers of course. Looks like you'll be following suit soon yourself. Big Grin

Who knew 3-D printing would become so addictive? Rotfl

Almost 10 years ago I heard about a project that involved the US Navy & Boeing. They were going to put 3D printers on some of the larger ships (aircraft carriers I think) along with STL files that covered some of the more frequently needed items that could be made from plastic. I remember as a MR (Machinery Repairman) or machinist in the civilian world making a lot of things out of brass and/or aluminum that would have been better made from plastic especially things exposed to salt water.

I had my micrometer stacked on top of my dial calipers. Since I use the dial calipers a whole lot more than the micrometer I kept having to move the micrometer so I 3D printed a separate shelf for it.

I was stacking these end mill holders on each other and I kept knocking the top one down. Fixed it.

Optical switch mount to read the encoder disc on my CNC mill conversion project.
Its just one channel plus index, not quadrature. Printed in two parts and has adjust ability.

LOL...I am the poster boy for your sig line!! this has been an on and off project for nearly 15 years or more. I have changed direction and redesigned it more times than I care to admit...and it has never even made chips yet. And I suk at taking pictures while working on it. Its just your basic X3 conversion that has been done a million times before. But I will try to start a thread for you soon Popcorn

Have you tested it yet? I'm curious to know if you get a static charge build up on your grinder frame. Chin
