Since it's already got the stepper, looks like a good start for a micro-controller based dividing head.

Yep, but I've already got a 6" rotary table and a tilting 4" with shared dividing plates...
The 4" Needs Attention though, the pivot pin's way off parallel to both the base and the table surface - another skip dive, I'm planning to bore the two castings between centres on the cross-slide boring table up on parallels, then bush to fit the pin back in - possibly adding another cylinder at a sensible centre distance for gauge blocks, sine table-ish? When I get the tuits I'll start a thread :-)

Google the part numbers and the manufacturer name, and you should be able to find a page that describes what they fit. Next stop, eBay.
This is one downside to being self employed which I had not considered before.... no dumpsters filled using other peoples money.

I should have added that they are for the front. One thing I'm wondering about is why aren't they painted black as they should be? Makes me wonder if they were tossed because they skipped the paint or something else wrong with them.
They are gloss black. Must be my flash. I've seen several new car motor parts in the dumpster . I asked once and was told, not needed or wrong parts ordered so after a while they toss em.
