One of the idiots here decided one corner of the lift was all he needed to change a truck tire. Bang! and I had to buy another hoist.

Had to cut about 2 inches off the top of mine for the crane to pass over it.
Free advice is worth exactly what you payed for it.

Good guesses but no. Since I got the lathe I've been storing the chuck key and other stuff on the headstock cover. Then have to move it all if I want to change speeds or do anything else in there.
My press sits behind the lathe so I decided to put it to use. Before I show the pics, yes my welding still sucks; yes I need to put the gas on the mig welder and get rid of that flux core crap. Here's the frame Here it is hanging on the press And here it is with a tray on it full of junque. It's held on right now with a couple of C clamps until I decide on how I want to mount it. I only want to drill holes in that new pan once. BTW, the pan is 15" x 10".

Lovely lift there Darren! I hope to be getting my son Brian one for his garage sometime next year, though we may have to raise the roof to be able to use it. That would still be worth the effort and expense because as you say, it's just SO nice not having to crawl under a car for everything, or even the stooping down for tire and brake work.

Well I'll be damned Vinny. I do believe your welds look worse than mine. I didn't think that was possible.
