Combined drill and countersinks: Why do they also come in left hand?--- Is this due to being used in multiple head drills were the spindles turn in oposite directions?

Yes, but also in some of the older cam-operated "swiss" style (sliding headstock) lathes which used LH tools on backworking operations.

I just thought they were Chinese, they read from right to left which is backwards to us right? Or could the be from ENGLAND, there they drive on the wrong side of the road, left, right. hihi--- tom
