I just received them from Amazon today. They appear very nicely made.

Interesting. How about a link so I can compare pricing to what I get from a local distributor?

I'll be using them this weekend to work on my mill. I'll let you know how they work out.

Ken,

Here is a link to one of the sets you mentioned in the Good quality chisels and punches thread ... http://www.amazon.com/Mayhew-61050-Punch...91&sr=1-23

If you don't mind, how does the Amazon price compare to the price you were quoted?

Thanks,
Arvid

I only used one of them to start the removal of the roll pin that holds the hand crank onto the lead screw but I assume they would all work the same, which was just fine.

I've been falling behind. Misc items from the last several weeks.
My new Eagle 66 oil can collection.  Cool
Some wire cleaning and lube pads for the mig welders.
A really nice pair of Starrett key seat clamps. (evilbay - cheap!)  Smiley-dancenana
"General" washer & gasket cutter, and spare blades.
I've just about worn out my pair of med/fine Eze diamond sharpeners, and decided to go with the full-monty this time.  Big Grin
Finally found a US standard sheet metal gauge at a decent price.
New ground clamp for my tig welder. (Upgrade)
A couple of "Vampliers" for removing screws with stripped out heads.
And a free sample of water based metalworking AnchorLube to try out.

Unfortunately the camera flash washed out most of the beautiful color case hardening in the pic. Slaphead

Almost forgot (again) -- the non-Fe boring bar inserts I ordered (Amazon) finally arrived after several weeks.
EDIT: And no, they're not polished to a mirror finish like yours are Ed.  Big Grin

Willie,

What are those Starrett key seat clamps used for, other than seating keys? 17428
I don't know what a key seat clamp is, obviously.
