I tried using one before. They're unusual and require getting accustomed to the key layout. It's worth doing though because there's so much good data at hand, available without firing-up the computer

Ordered last thurs delivered today 6 days later. It is a nice piece and does functions that I have never even heard of plus many I am familiar with but probably never learn how to use it to it's full potential. It is definitely not one of the needed items for a beginner and most likely not even myself. Oh well I have it now. tom

Tom,
It's another tool so you must need it.
Better to have a tool and not need it than to have the need and no tool, or something like that.

Close enough.
It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.
I bought the cheap version without all the extras, on sale for about $15 IIRC. I don't know how to use the "extras" anyway. If I did, I shouldn't need them in the first place, right?
