The rad on my Ford diesel had plastic tanks. At -40 in Alberta the lower tank seal would weep as the engine warmed up. The plastic would shrink enough that it would weep as the rad pressured up but seal again when it got some warmth. God I hate cold weather.
-6 C here for a high today, started filling the wood shed, cold weather seams to be a motivator.

Had an opportunity to try out that Chinese 8" four jaw I mounted. Was a treat to use instead of the 16" one.

Colder weather is a great motivator for filling the wood shed. I dry outside for 2 years then move it in. Have the shed 3/4 full, 13 1/2 ton of dry wood. To satisfy SteveC 6 3/4 bush cord

Greg, why would that satisfy me?
But while I'm here, is a "bush cord" the same as a real 4'x4'x8' cord?

Finished filling the woodshed, glad that only has to happen once a year.
9 bush cords or 27 face cord, 18 ton. Heating with wood not only keeps the house warm but me warm doing it.

Machined a set of bushings for the thumb on an excavator. The old ones came loose and belled the caps, bored them oversized and trued up the flange. Now to heat the caps for a 3 thou shrink fit.
