Spent the last couple of days at the sawmill cutting shingles, the trimming them in the cabinet shop.

That should finish the back wall of the shop, have about half it done. Then I can finish the soft and facia and evict the F---G squirrels that have ruined the insulation in my attic.

you using a nail gun, or the old fashioned way with hammer and them little shingle nails which when I use them I always seem to end up with black thumbnails.

Staples, 7/16 wide and 1 1/4 long. The shingle breaks before they come out. No way I was doing this by hand.
