Todays Project - What did you do today?
I had bought a magnetic dial indicator holder thinking I had a spare indicator at home but turns out I had it attached to a tool holder for dialing in stock in the 4 jaw. I decided to try a trick I saw here and built a holder that would work on my QCTP. Couple short pieces of round stock and a chunk of angle iron and 2 minutes with the welder.

I'll powder coat it next time I get the gun out but works great and frees up a tool holder.

Thanks Al, works perfectly and simple to do for a holder like this that won't be taking much pressure.

David, that rifle just makes you want to reach out and touch it. The Winchester 94 has the same effect. Beautiful work.

If you can't get one, make one.
