ps. to be honest, my mother in law is a kind person, and just very occasionally ribs me. She also said I clean up good.
Ever use Fast Orange on your face? The pumice really helps get tractor scrapings off.

Margarine works to get tar out of your hair too. Don't ask how I know.

Margarine and a teaspoon full of sugar in a cupped hand what I got doled out with as a kid to clean tar off my hands - works well, but then so does olive oil and sugar.
The Romans used olive oil to clean using a 'strigal' or scraper. I suppose that the sugar does the same as the scraper - the oil brings the filth to the surface and it gets scraped off.

Made a couple bedroom door signs for my daughters out of some nice birdseye maple I had.
