This project is far enough along to be useful. I made two different sized stop rods and want to make one more. I'll be painting the two blocks blue to kind of match the Kurt vise. The bolt on the end of the arm is temporary until I can get around to making a proper knob.

Thanks. I use " One Shot " brand. It's a sign painters paint, and I have found it to be quite durable on a lot of my tools.

Two knobs. that black one looks tacky compared to the rest of it.

OK Vinny and Darren. I'll fix that. Although the black knobs are not cheap plastic. They're a rubber type material and have a very good grip for how small they are. I'll make some proper ones out of brass. But in the mean time, I'll use the tool as is.
