I can't view the pictures sadly but I did read the entire thread start to finish and from the other's reactions I'm sure I will be more than in awe. I think that I will have to show my dad this thread in hopes that he gets a wild hair and really wants to get into building guns (shooting is part of the family for us) sooner than later!
Thanks for taking the time to post all of this TomG!! I don't think you have finished the barrel yet. These are the patents for the Hamilton No. 7 that NevadaBlue posted over on Weapons Guild. Not sure where he got them from unless he really found them on the patent office website. Thought you would appreciate them!! Here is a link directly to where the pics are posted, maybe you can view them there: http://ImageEvent.com/tomgriffin/buildin...nsfavorite The patent drawing look interesting. I'm in the process of collecting as much information as possible to help when it comes time to do the rifling. Thanks for posting them. Seriously, that would be much better viewing than the few Sons of Guns episodes I have seen.

You guys are hilarious. I have never seen it and I have not really heard anything good about it. That is the problem, the pictures are posted to a site that is blocked by my government internet connection here. :sigh: I guess I will have to wait until November.
