Anyone used a soda blaster similar to these?

I have the HF version, which my dad bought at a garage sale years ago. I doubt he paid more than 2-3 bucks for it, and that's about all it's worth.

Yes, it works, but not well. Clogs frequently. Doesn't put out all that much sand for the volume of air it requires. Needs a LOT of air. I have a Craftsman 30 gallon paint sprayer compressor, and it barely keeps up. Forget using it at anything less than 100 psi.

That said, if it is your only option, it will get the job done, eventually.
