I've had these precision squares stored in the boxes they came in for years. Time they deserved a new home.
I added some cork to the bottom for a more comfortable rest.

Some sheet metal covers also work well. When push comes to shove so do some red shop towels.

I've got some neoprene rubber left over that will fit on both sides of the vise so I plan on using it to cover the table also.

Made one of these for my brother for his birthday last month. Bought the spotting drills to fill it up and sent it off to him. I figured I should have one also but I need to get the two larger sizes. The super glue got away from me.  Blush

Acetone will take that off. Don't soak it, or it will soften the joint as well.

Just out of curiosity guys, which point angle do you prefer for your spotting drills?

Personally, I just use center drills for everything.
