I gave up on the metal buckets from Home Depot, and just carefully use 5 gallon Homer buckets. Wouldn't do at all to toss a hot part into the bucket and have it melt through the bottom.

I actually have a large amount of 3/16" stainless steel drops from a decorative railing job I'm struggling to finish. I could make the bucket from hell with all the spare time I don't have. :)

common problem in the floorsanding industry .when sanding floors that have been oiled,( back in the 70s a lot of builders oiled new floors to protect them during construction ) never leave the sawdust in the sanding machines dust bag .it must be emptied outside and not left on the machine or in the bag  overnight  . it will self combust .
