Just checked the USPS tracking page and both boxes arrived in Melbourne this morning and are on their way to me (I'm about 90 minutes from the centre of Melbourne)
I'll probably cross paths with them on my way to work tomorrow!

One very intact USPS international shipping box
   
Containing a very robust styrofoam brick
   
15 minutes with a sturdy blade
   
   
Not all of the expanding foam had cured, so those zip-lock bags were a great move!
   

Heading off to work shortly and I'll pick up the second box on the way, hoping to get time on Monday to make a start on the fitting. Thanks Arvid. I'm a happy camper.

Been flat out over the past couple of days but I managed to pick up the second box from the post office on Friday afternoon.
They had made an effort at damaging it
   

but it was well up to the challenge.
Very happy with this little lot.
   

Thanks again to Arvid for gathering the extra holders for me and for the outstanding packaging job.

I made a start on getting the toolpost set up this evening making a shim but I have had a big day with some landscaping that has taken up most of my day off and all of my energy. I'll get some photos as I go and start another thread
