Hello Shawn,
I seem to remember a bright orange SB lathe being rebuilt as the subject of a thread on another forum a few years ago there just couldn't be two in that colour
could there?
Best regards
Rick

It's the only orange South Bend that I am aware of, I got the idea after seeing a beautifully restored 10EE painted the same colour.

Was that possibly your rebuild thread?

Wow, some seriously nice shops and machines many people have here. I take it that many of you are not hobby machinists, either that or I've got a big step up to make,

Don't sweat it Steve, some of us actually scratch out a living doing this stuff. I'm very lucky that my hobby and my vocation are one in the same. Consequently the machines in my shop have paid for themselves over the years and now I get to use them for my hobbies.
We would all be happy to help out if you need it. All ya gotta do is ask.
