Cheers Lads  Smiley-eatdrink004 , its good to see there is some interest in my messing about  Rotfl Rotfl

Well I made some progress with the ash dump flap today  .

I reused the material from the not so good flap , yes I could just cut a new bit but why waste materials .

Hi Ed

I used my old MIG with 0.6mm mild steel wire ,I nearly swapped the real for SS but decided it was not worth it for a few welds and its just forge at the end of the day .

Well today did not go to plan , I was planning on doing the hood today but it has rained hard all day , I have to cut the 8x4 sheet up outside .

So I stripped the forge and cleaned up the stand ,finished the welding and removed the weld splatter .
