hi well i was given this to have a look at a mitutoyo at first me thoughts was the plunger had became bent as it wood stick so-far up i was looking forward to riping this apart as i ant posted a haw to on dismantling one first job remove the back and av a look well that's as far as i got as i sported the trouble strata a way the gage had bin dropped and the guide plate had moved so the slot was no longer in line with the plunger slackened off the two retaining screws and moved the plate to sit in to its right place hay presto all dun so no need to tack it all to bits right pics
