I don't worry too much about hail until it gets to the size of golf balls then it will hurt ya. have seen it big as baseballs

Here's a pic of one we went through in Nebraska in 2002

Roofs were being punctured and I heard of one room in a house that was so damaged the room had to be completely stripped to the studs.  Hail stones broke a picture window sending glass shards into the carpet, the furniture, and the drywall.  More pics are available on line.

Started on the upright for the pusher.
Cut to size, still needs to be 'cleaned up' a little and a few holes drilling in it.
