Woodcarving a hare

Hi All , I have a few more photos of the finished hare carving with the mahogany base fitted , I put it on a base as the grain was running up through the feet and they could have been snaped off if they were knocked.

That is some bit of "wood butchering"
 I still say the lugs (ears) are amazing John 
That's a skill and by far you've got it very nice thanks for sharing
