Making A Welding Table
I finally got around to finishing the assembly of the HF portable welding table. The top is not flat by any stretch of the imagination so it can't be used as a reference surface for welding. That makes this table less useful than it could be. Oh well, It's still slightly better than a piece of Durarock thrown on top of my unused router table.

That's odd. Mine are as straight as my welds Blush

Just saw this on Craig's List but my bank account is not large enough nor the garage floor strong enough to handle it ... http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/bf...71433.html.

Ed, my welding table must not be flat either 'cause the odd time my welding comes out straight. Rotfl
I haven't yet been able to do it intentionally yet. Blush

your floor would handle it, those blocks only weight about 2500 pounds, way bak when I used to work I built a table out of ten of them all bolted together for building oil drilling rig drawworks on.
