I recently made a square collet holder

The hole is there in case i need to machine a hex on the end of a long bar SmileSmileSmileSmile
I bored it half way then broke in to it from the nose endBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin

I used my square one to make a chuck key
The hex one will be good for one off bolt heads ect
Once it is set up in a mill vice you simply turn it over to put flats on to round bar
I will post some pictures of it in actionBig GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin
