Thanks sasquatch!!! They arent a big deal to make now with the little jig, and I get what I want not what the hardware store has that doesnt always fit my needs. Seems silly to some, but once you have the jig its only a couple minutes work. Keeps me off the streets as well

Wont get any time today to work on it, I have to work on my truck. The one pipe broke going into the muffler and Im going to try to get a 3" sleeve to weld over it.......ugh.....it never ends....

a little more today, pictures should sum it up. I may change the screws to knurled head screws, but it will take me a year to fill it up enough to have to take it off lol

ok, got a little more done the other day, made up some base plates for casters and welded them on, made a new lower spring mount and welded it on, welded some stray holes closed that I didnt need, and welded up the stray cuts in the table where the blade comes down. My saw has a small recess on the inboard side of the out feed table, so I just touched that up a little where some cuts had gone wild, and I welded the out board side, it needed a lot of build up, then ground it all down. Not overly excited about the results, better than it was but not perfect. It also does not look as bad in person as it does in the photos. I also made a bracket to add a lower shelf for small cut offs, the rear angle (on the back legs) was welded on with a 1/4" difference from side to side, I didnt have a good way to get in there and cut out the old weld so I left it . I will add a piece of plywood to it when the saw is done. Then I started cleaning up parts and getting ready for some paint.....hope to get more time to work on it soon.

started scraping paint, wire brushing etc.......got some of the smaller parts painted. Its always a boost when you start seeing some finished parts :), just gotta try to get the shop warm enough today to get a coat of paint on the bigger parts.....supposed to be brutal cold today...ugh......gotta go snowblow the driveway first......
