Maybe next summer? I've had it a year and it's the first machine I've owned that hasn't endeared itself to me. There's just no love there...
I have a planer that overlaps, maybe exceeds what a shaper can do, so things are kind of redundant. The shaper is a 100 year old Lutter & Gies, a 16" model that I've posted pics of here before. Good condition. Looking for $500 and it's sitting on a really rough concrete floor. Rolled it in on 3/4" pipes after a forklift set it in the doorway. The forklift rental was $200 and if they bring the right one this time, we can probably avoid the pipe rollers.
We'll see. Maybe once it figures out that I'm about to kick it to the curb it'll act nicer to me.
