I looked at the screw machine length drills after I logged in and the list prices were the same as those listed when I looked last week on the Enco site. ($376.78 versus $620.82, which is about 40% less than the MSC list price).
However, when I went to the checkout, it asked if I wanted to apply both the 25% and 30% off coupons. Of course, I accepted but it didn't make any difference to the checkout total! I didn't buy them but I know that sometimes the discount isn't applied until checkout, which is why I checked. Apparently, this isn't the case with MSC.
I guess it was too much to expect a final checkout price of $169.55 plus shipping for a full set of metric (1-13mm), fractional (1/16-1/2"), letter (A-Z) and wire gauge (#1-#60) drills. Would have been nice though
Here in Australia a vendor has to honour a price/discount if it is advertised, regardless of whether it is a mistake or not. Is this the same in the US?
