A chap I do some work for is rebuilding a 1928 Chev on the side, brought the spindles over for me to replace the king pin bushings. Asks how much, this is playing Kelly, I only charge for your work related stuff. So this morning he shows up with this old genset. It has a D600 Kubota engine in it. He figured the wood processor needed a diesel. He claims it ran perfectly but hasn't in about 20 years, been sitting in a shed.
