Shawn, aluminum is pretty easy, doesn't take a lot of heat, brass and bronze's a little harder along with some more heat.
If you get to thinking about Cast Iron then your going to have to find a whole bucket full of heat and the stuff can be stubborn as all hell to make it do what you want which is to come out of the sand soft enough to be able to cut it with something a little cheaper then a diamond.
But all things taken into account its a pretty neat hobby and can easily warm up a cold winter day, or make you sweat like hell during the summer.
