For those that need a good laugh here's a video of my attempt yesterday to pour a couple parts in Cast Iron, it FAILED due to me not making the pouring basin big enough to catch and contain the molten metal. Had about fifteen pounds of molten cast iron in the crucible when I pulled it out of the furnace.
Good example of not having things ready cause I thought that the mold would take and hold all the metal, so next time I get to use my new ingot mold blocks to ram up some place to pour the stuff cause its too hot to put in a coffee cup.
