I purchased the stuff you see in the photo as a kit from Wanti Motors.
I was able to get two of the drivers too run the motor you see in the next photo
not sure whats exactly going on with the Z axis yet but got tired of messing with it for the evening, I know its not the wiring on the motor as it runs of both the X and Y drivers.
I checked both terminals 6 and 7 with a meter and 6 is the pulse which should have a varying voltage and 7 which should have either 5 volts or no voltage, the voltage on both of them is around 2.5 volts not sure whats going on. may be the cheap cable they sent with the stuff, I went to get one from the computer store but ended up with the wrong one.
found a bad wire on output 7, now have all three motors running.
