Me, I have a workshop bench in my walk-in cellar at home that looks similar to the one you prefer, full of all kinds of tools. I clean it up about once every year, and it's due again. I should take some photos of that one before & after too!

I will be clearing out a lot of space in my cellar as that's where the shop at my mom's home may be moved to within a couple of years. It would be nice to be able to hit the machine shop without driving 7-1/2 miles. Too bad my cellar doesn't have windows like the current shop does....yet. One thing I don't know if I want to give up is that I have two big shelving units in there. Both are 6 feet (just under 2m) tall, and have 3 shelves that are 4 feet (1.22m) wide. One is 8 feet (2.44m) long, the other 6 feet long. They hold a LOT of stuff, but take up a lot of space.
