Went camping for the week of the 4th, but needed to fix up some new steps for the camper first. I had some folding steps but by them self they were to short, so I went to the scrap been and got started.
First some brackets welded to the bumper for mounting to.
Next some risers to weld a step to and hang the folding steps from.
Sorry didn't get pics of the forming of the step but with no metal brake, it was a sharp steel table edge some heat, clamps, a piece of angle iron and a hammer.

I then drilled some holes in the step to spot weld it to the risers.

Now I have a set of steps for the camper that are safe and easy to use.

The best part is it all comes off with four bolts!
