First year I planted, 200 heads.
Was a dry year and I didn't haul water to them very often, not real big but not bad.

So Greg...what does one do with 200 heads of garlic? Will you actually use it, or is it just another of our hobbies gone awry?

Tom

Another hobby yes, but will need 50 for seeding the next crop so that only leaves 3 per week if I can find a way to store them. And we probably use close to 3 per week. Hum maybe better save 75 for seed and increase production.

They are pretty darned good when pickled, if you don't mind eating them straight up.

Tom, if you'd excavated and made a proper pool you'd have had LOADS of material :)

After you get that filter hooked up, there's a product called "Green to Blue" that will clear it up overnite. Then you just vacuum it out and go swimming.

I think that stuff is for algae, Vinny. This is just minerals from the well water. It'll clear up in a few days now that the filter is running. If not, I'll try out your suggestion.
