I have the same mold as you with one of the original hammer flat handles for the hammer. mine makes a 2 pound hammer I think, never weighed it.

doing castings in thin cast iron is an art form all in it's self, I tried to make a casting of an Ohaus lead mold never did get the damn thing to fill when trying to pour in with Cast Iron,
