Todays Project - What did you do today?
Been there done that Ed. I've lost nails like that. It's no fun when the new nail is pushing the old one out of the way. Yours does not look that bad but the pain is the same. As Ken said it takes a long time to go away. Hope you get better soon.

However, in Ed's case there would be no need to actually do any more than apply one of these:

I won't actually do anything but generally reassures the patient that you have done something for them and that all will be well.  Of course, if he didn't cry or carry on like a pork chop he may actually get a lollipop for being a brave lad Big Grin

Today I finished a project for my 9X20 lathe. The original hand Wheel is too small for my big paws on these lathes. They are only 1.750" in diameter. I had to make a gear box to move the handle 1.500" to the right and up 1.000" to accommodate the modified Hand Wheel of 2.760" in diameter. Works great and is solid as a rock.

I hope you're not serious, Ed.

You know from my response that I have total respect for you.

I think Ed's comment in tongue in cheek Ken. He knows that we all hold him in the highest regard and consider this to be a truly great forum.
