Machining Chamfers - EdK - 10-08-2016 This may sound like a dumb question but here goes. When a drawing calls out a chamfer dimension of say .25 x 45 degrees, is that .25" dimension the measurement of the face of the chamfer or some other dimension? Ed RE: Machining Chamfers - RobWilson - 10-08-2016 Hi Ed The .25 it the depth of the chamfer , the face dimension would be hard to accurately measure ,especial on say the end of a round bar . Rob RE: Machining Chamfers - EdK - 10-08-2016 Thanks Rob, that makes sense. Ed RE: Machining Chamfers - Mayhem - 10-08-2016 I see that BobCad is one step up on AmishCad, giving the ability to add colour to the print.
