I watched that video many times before deciding on it. It must be me then, with incorrect feed and speed that caused premature dulling of blades.

Count me among the fans of mixed-tooth (a.k.a. vari-pitch) bi-metal blades. I have both a 10-14 and a 6-10, the Lenox Classic. I use the 6-10 for almost all aluminum, and anything else over a 3" cross-section. The finer 10-14 is good for most rounds under 2-1/2" and thinner cross-section rectangular, square and structural shapes.
