RE: Band saw blades question - Wongster - 04-19-2012 John, I watched that video many times before deciding on it. It must be me then, with incorrect feed and speed that caused premature dulling of blades. Regards, Wong RE: Band saw blades question - PixMan - 05-17-2012 Count me among the fans of mixed-tooth (a.k.a. vari-pitch) bi-metal blades. I have both a 10-14 and a 6-10, the Lenox Classic. I use the 6-10 for almost all aluminum, and anything else over a 3" cross-section. The finer 10-14 is good for most rounds under 2-1/2" and thinner cross-section rectangular, square and structural shapes. |
