Optical switch mount to read the encoder disc on my CNC mill conversion project.
Its just one channel plus index, not quadrature. Printed in two parts and has adjust ability.

LOL...I am the poster boy for your sig line!! this has been an on and off project for nearly 15 years or more. I have changed direction and redesigned it more times than I care to admit...and it has never even made chips yet. And I suk at taking pictures while working on it. Its just your basic X3 conversion that has been done a million times before. But I will try to start a thread for you soon

Made an adapter for my belt grinder so I could hook up the shop vac.

Have you tested it yet? I'm curious to know if you get a static charge build up on your grinder frame.
