This project is far enough along to be useful. I made two different sized stop rods and want to make one more. I'll be painting the two blocks blue to kind of match the Kurt vise. The bolt on the end of the arm is temporary until I can get around to making a proper knob.

Well done, its a thing of beauty Ed. What's great about this forum, is seeing the results of people who enjoy building something better than average, functional, or just good enough, and sharing it with those who can appreciate it.

They're a rubber type material and have a very good grip for how small they are. I'll make some proper ones out of brass. But in the mean time, I'll use the tool as is.  Ed |
