I've seen a few that were interesting and many that would scare a "Southern Engineer". I did take the owner of the forum to task when he posted someone's design to remotely set off fireworks, as it could also be used for an IED.

Hello there Do regret being a pain Just one Quick Q, please - regarding the FLY CUTTER How crucial is the Hardening of both the parts ?? Or none at all ??? We have used Heavy Metal for the Ball and CMV Tooling Steel for the Insert Holder which could be Hardened Would appreciate Your thoughts here Thanks in advance Regards aRM

I do not believe I have seen a 6 jaw chuck before, cool love learning. That is a nice looking steady, even better it was built by the owner.
Magazines have issues, everything else has problems

I tend to build most everything extra like this, I enjoy it. The 6 jaw is a Cushman. It's also a scroll chuck too so the center can be adjusted. It's been great to have. |
